QWEST Wireless - Service and Products

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Mary Doan

The good: Great to be able to reach others or have them reach you when you are away from home. The bad: Too many dropped calls and "dead" areas.Summary: On the whole, Qwest Wireless is a good carrier. They offer quality products and service as well as friendly, polite and knowledgeable information and assistance. The main complaint with their product is that for those with poor eyesight, the phones are too small to see the numbers on the keypad or read the screen. Also, the size of the buttons on the keypad are too small for those with larger hands. It is also difficult to hear with a protective cover over the phone. This is the input of a senior citizen who really likes being able to carry a phone when I am away from home. The major problems with the service are too many dropped calls and unable to call out or receive calls in "dead" areas.

Good reception in South Scottsdale

Posted on: August 18th, 2006 by Susyn Rasmussen

The good: Clear reception around McKellips & Hayden areaNo dropped callsThe bad: More expensive than other carriersPoor phone choicesQuestionable billingNo loyalty or customer retention packages to re-sign upSummary: Overall the phone service has been good. I am looking at signing up with someone else due to expense, poor phone choices and questionable billing over calls I don't believe I made or recieved, but can't prove. They won't compromise. Too bad because I really hate to leave them otherwise. No customer retention breaks.
