Noah Answers Your Questions - Omnia or iPhone?

Noah Answers Your Questions - Omnia or iPhone?
Q. Noah, I was extremmely close to buying the iPhone until I saw the Samsung Omnia in your video. looks tight. how cool is it and is it up to par with the beast made by Apple? A. I've only had a little bit of hands-on time with Omnia but it definitely looks great.  Omnia's a Windows Mobile device, so it should be somewhat similar to the HTC Touch Diamond in that you've got Windows Mobile 6 running underneath with a nicer layer of user...

iFail: Apple admits muffing MobileMe, offers 60 more days free
I want to launch into a rant here.  It'd go something like this: I've always used Apple products, have never bought a non-Apple computer, and have followed them with both personal and professional interest since first laid eyes on an Apple IIe back in elementary school, but I'm this close to calling it a day and moving on to the world of PCs.  Apple's grown too fast for their own good, and quality control is suffering in a big...

Noah Answers Your Questions - What is over the air downloading?

Noah Answers Your Questions - What is over the air downloading?
Q. In your instinct vs iphone comparison you said with the Instinct you can download 'over the air' and the iphone you cannot. what does that mean and what does it mean to me in a practical sense? Also, what other limitations would this feature, or lack of the feature, cause? A. Over the Air downloading means that you can purchase and download songs and video directly to the phone using your cellular connection.  Apple limits iPhones to...

iPhone Watch: Best Buy to become newest retailer of iPhones
Retail giant Best Buy has apparently been working overtime to get on Apple's good side, and it seems all that hard work is about to pay off.  Best Buy will become the third retailer of Apple's iPhone 3G, alongside AT&T and Apple itself, with iPhone 3Gs hitting BB shelves as soon as September 7th, according to a press release issued today by the company.Shawn Score, head of Best Buy Mobile (BB's mobile phone store within a store) was...

Re: Iphone, Scratches!

Iphone, Scratches!

I have had an iPhone for some time now, Its a great phone with alota great features. But its large area of a screen is bound to get scratched up! It did get scratches on it, i wanted to prevent that so i did a little research and found Phantomskinz.com They make protective non-scratchable patterns for phones and stuff. So i orderd one for my iphone and installed it myself. (wich was suprisingly easy) It fits perfect and there is no orange peal...

Re: iPhone Usage with T-Mobile
So here is my question; I just recently purchased an iPhone in hopes of unlocking it.  I found a lot of information explaining how to unlock the iPhone, however that is not my question.  My question(s) is/are this: 1. When using a T-Mobile SIM card that card needs to be paid for right (in other words it needs to be active)?Yes the sim card must be associated with a currently active account 2. Can...

iPhone Usage with T-Mobile

So here is my question; I just recently purchased an iPhone in hopes of unlocking it.  I found a lot of information explaining how to unlock the iPhone, however that is not my question.  My question(s) is/are this:1. When using a T-Mobile SIM card that card needs to be paid for right (in other words it needs to be active)?2. Can  another number be programed onto that SIM card?3. Can I simply use wireless instead of the T-Mobile service, or is...

Re: iPhone/Touch jailbreak 1.1.3 almost ready for public

I just don't get how Apple has the balls to charge for a SOFTWARE update. What other company does that??? I bought XP professional a couple of years ago and I still get updates for free!

Re: iPhone/Touch jailbreak 1.1.3 almost ready for public

I have to say I am really dissapointed in Apple's decision to charge for the update! It has to be the worst PR misstep in a long time. I missed the return date by two days!!!  Come on Jailbreak!

iPhone/Touch jailbreak 1.1.3 almost ready for public

Nothing annoys me more than having to pay for software upgrades that should be FREE! After all the person buying an iTouch today doesn't have to shell out an extra $20 to get the latest version of the software!!!  [:@]  "The iPhone development community has done it again. Software/firmware revision 1.1.3 has been jailbroken (full read/write access to the filesystem), meaning that unofficial third-party...

Re: Nokia N95 8GB VS iPhone Apple 8GB
According to me Apple should just make computers and iPod, iPhone won't be successful.
Are you serious?? iPhone won't be successful? It already is successful and will continue to be so for the foreseable future. How long do you think it will take Apple to out sell the N95 oh I'm sorry it already has- Doh!

Re: Nokia N95 8GB VS iPhone Apple 8GB

Hi,   Nokia N95 is much better because it has everything such as a good camera, music player, video player, phone, messaging, video calling, and much more. Touch screen doesn't matter when you have lot of other things. According to me Apple should just make computers and iPod, iPhone won't be successful. Hope this will help you.   Enjoy!
