HTC company profile
HTC Corporation, founded on May 15th 1997, specializes in designing and manufacturing world-class mobile computing and communication solutions for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and ODM (original design manufacturer) customers. Since its establishment, HTC has become one of the most respected Windows CE device OEMs/ODMs.
Chosen by Microsoft as a hardware platform development partner for the Windows CE operating system, HTC has since built up an exceptionally strong engineering team with two divisions—the IA (Information Appliance) engineering division and the WM (Wireless Mobile) engineering division. These divisions have devoted all their efforts to designing highly innovative, quality products—and taken a market-centric approach with customers. Meanwhile, as an innovator and pioneer, HTC is adding wireless expertise to its portfolio and is expanding the frontier of mobile computing, and Internet and wireless convergence.
Besides having excellent engineering capability, HTC also has the production capacity and logistical support to maintain a large customer base through its efficient, high-volume, ISO-9001/ISO-14001-qualified facilities.

HTC sends Noah an early birthday present - The Touch Diamond. This is a slick little Windows Mobile smartphone with a great touchscreen, TouchFLO 3D, and lots of other goodies. Check it out.
Noah goes hands on with the HTC Shift in this video, and learns what this CDMA version for the Sprint network can do. This ultramobile PC is a windows touchscreen device that uses Vista, and can run via WiFi or EVDO connection via Sprint. The HTC Shift also offers a Snap View interface which highlights your "day at a glance". HTC is bringing their unlocked handsets direct to US customers via Best Buy. We go hands on with the Touch Dual at CTIA Las Vegas with a special guest whose voice should be familiar to Phone fanatics everywhere. Planning on taking a summer vacation anytime soon? Noah has some great advise for packing your bags and losing the laptop by taking the HTC Mogul along instead.
Engadget's got this graphic that's supposedly a slide from an internal Sprint presentation/update, and it details a September launch of the HTC Touch Diamond. The good? Touch Diamond on Sprint, duh. The bad? $299.99 on contract, after $100 rebate. $399.99 and two years out the door? Yikes. I've been testing the Touch Diamond, and it's a solid device and all, but that's crazy expensive given today's US... The HTC Dream has received FCC approval, and that quiet rumbling you hear is the sound of T-Mobile subscribers doing their happy dance across the land. HTC model "DREA100" is ready to go and appears to pack the following goodies along with its much-ballyhooed Android operating system:
T-Mobile ready 3G: GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/1900 and WCDMA 1700 bands
802.11 b/g WiFi
Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR
A BlackBerry-esque jog ball
T-Mobile's... Last week I made mention of an unnamed, destined for T-Mobile handset
that I'd been lucky enough to catch a glimpse of first-hand. I called
it "T-Mobile's best phone ever,"
and the speculation began in the comments section. Some folks guessed
that I'd seen an early prototype of a Google Android-based device,
perhaps the HTC Dream. Nope. I saw something else entirely. That
being said, an Android-powered HTC... Hey AT&T fans, I've got a couple of juicy tidbits to liven up your Monday morning. Grab a fresh cuppa Joe and get your reading glasses on ...
First up, WMpoweruser lifted some pics from an XDA-developers forum post of looks to be a US-ready HTC Touch Pro complete with AT&T-compatible 3G frequencies. The user who posted the pics claims to have picked it up for a cool $900 though another post in the thread speculates that the... Can't wait for Google's mobile platform to hit the streets on a handset actually designed around it? Don't be scared off by that CNET report that ran Thursday; Google and HTC fired right back saying they're still on track to release an Android phone before the end of this year. While HTC can't do much until Google's Android team irons out what they've got left to iron out, both companies said they're still on track to drop HTC's... Have you checked out our first-look video of HTC's Touch Diamond smartphone? Did you ignore it because it's not available through a US Carrier just yet? Well, you might want to take another look as PhoneArena's reporting that both Sprint and Verizon Wireless will be launching branded CDMA versions of the device within the next few months. And, even better, both carriers should also be picking up the HTC Touch Pro - Touch... hi , pls help to get the procedure of connecting "gprs", setting , default , h? to make settings in ur phone , and one more is tht saving file location , to default to memory card , so help to get these 2 doubts cleared ... Hey, so i am up north in Canada and am on the Telus network.
I currently own the HTC S720 and LOVE it! I am torn between the new HTC Diamond or Samsung instinct.
I can't find anything on the difference in features of the orig. HTC Diamond and the new CDMA version. I do hear that touch flo3d can slow down a lot and cause serious frustration.
What would be my best bet? Instinct or DIamond???? which is better the htc touch pro or the se xperia x1? Also wat carriers are these phones going to? Thanks Freinds,
I have recently bought HTC 3400. It is a fantastic phone in my view. I wanna to konw that :

Use this link for a the latest tips and tricks for the Shadow http://www.america.htc.com/support/shadow/tips-tricks.html Have you even seen an iMate? That is already a bad sign. It may have all of the bells and whistles, but where are you going to go for support? That is the problem I had with my Pantech Ocean.
I would most likely go with a Nokia if I had a gun to my head.
Symbian s60 3rd gen only! Which brand offers the most value, functionality and coolness factor?
I don't know if it's just me, but all of the latest smartphones/PDA's are starting to look all alike. Yes the iMate and HTC phones offer a ton of features (9502), but between the bulky size and so so styling I am starting to lean more towards the N-series from Nokia. They now offer a lot of the same features in a smaller/cleaner looking package. I just wish they would make a... Can you deactivate sleep mode under settings? If so try to disable it before pairing the headset.
Just a thought :) When I enable blue tooth my phone will go into sleep mode. It becomes completely unresponsive. I get the usual blinking lights but the screen remains black and I cannot make or receive calls. To reactivate my phone I have to remove and replace the battery. Qwest tells me I am the only person in the world that has this problem. They replaced the phone for me and I have tried 2 brands of bluetooth devices with the... Hey Jennifer have you had a chance to try it out? If so did you like it?
My buddy just bought one for his wife for Christmas - he is hoping like you she can get used to the keypad.
