The Droid is one of the more powerful android devices on the market. But what is the flash performance like. I like playing a lot of flash games on my laptop. Can I play the same quality of games on a android device. May be a comparison of flash content on the various mobiles would be a good video.

First of all there is no mouse to use in the game. I used to try and play games my old win-mob phone in opera and it was nearly impossible. The game wouldn't recognize the arrow keys and the webpage would scroll up and down. I am assuming it would be similar with the droid.

Quite literally, if you watch the video, at a minute and 50 seconds he mentions that neither phone supports flash.

What the heck, did Noah get hit by a car or something?

Anxiously awaiting the verdict, not because I'm making a decision, but because my Droid is the greatest thing since pb&j. After watching the fixed prizefight from Cnet.com, the subjective sexiness scores, glossing over of key features, "omg droid doesn't work with iTunes", and an arbitrary end decision I'm only coming here for tech news. Apple makes good stuff, I'll admit it, but I don't like being spoonfed my technology ntm the "Apple lifestyle" and fanboi-ism. So everyone here wanting an iPhone win go check out Cnet. I'm going to wait here and see how this one turns out.

Good Vid , but is it me or do the "droid" seem a lil cumbersome, Android 2.0 seem just like 1.5 or 1.6 to me, but it could be to the fact it's put up against the 'jesus phone' really the iphone is slightly faster, but gotta give the driod some time.not a fan of neither phone but i like android with andless possabilities abound ...time will tell

Oh! i know this going to sound ..... funny but when the DROIDS 5 mp camera works it really one of the better cameras on phones. ALL of the problems with the DROID's camera problems are software related and relate to indoor lighting and the inability to focus Most of ther time. Google and Verizon are releasing an update in December to address a few bugs and the camera is one of the bugs they are attempting to fix..... oh and iphone fan boys..... be quiet! At least Google admits when they have a minor problem ......... ive got 2 iphone 3G(S) AND 2 3GS(S) AND EVERTHING FROM OVERHEATING, TO WIFI NOT WORKING PROPERLY, BATTERY LIFE ISSUSES IS SOME HOW A RESULT OF MY OWN DOING. so please no buggy platform comments... k.

truth be told when i first strted using the droids physical keyboard i was ...... underwhelmed to say the least. the keyboard on the droid was VERY.... OK! Now after a few more days of typing on it (or maybe it i just got used to the device) I really cound not imagine the phone without the physical keyboard. it seeems to be "broken in" now and the keys seem much softer. i still have to look at my hands whn i type but i can fly on the thing now ( not like on a blackberry bold though) but much faster and more accurate than any software keyboar....... iphone included!

I want and need this phone. I really really I mean really need a upgrade. I currently have the Motorola Q9c, which at frist was very happy with it till it started missing up. It calls itself a smartphone but nothing is smart about it.I'm on my 3rd one, I was on the phone with verizon wireless for a hour begging them to send me a new phone but instead they just sent me another replacement. This phone gots everything I need, and I think is way better than the iphone. One it got a slide keyborad and touch which the Iphone doesn't. I played with the Droid at a store and was in loved. I wish I would of thought twice before getting my Motorola Q back in November of 08. I guess I would save up the money and buy the Droid straight out, it's worth the double shifts and skipping my other bills.

What is the name of the app for multi-touch zooming, and is it just for pics or does it work on the web?

I agree that nobody would ever hold down one key while continuing to press other keys, but it is a solid test for whether or not the Droid has a multi-touch keyboard. Now, before you come back at me, because I can tell you feel very strongly about your Droid, I am not saying the Droid is not a good phone. I am purely looking for a definite answer to "Does the Droid have a mutli-touch virtual keyboard?". I honestly could care less about the zooming capabilities when looking at pics on my phone, so PicSay doesnt impress me. But, a mutli-touch keyboard would definitely allow you to type faster.

No there is no multitouch on the keyboard.. however it does not slow down texting one bit. It is nothing like the storm if that is what your thinking. I can text pretty fast on this but that could be cause I had the iPhone for 2 straight weeks before. I like it better than the iPhone but the iPhone of course is pimp.. this is a great phone which I'm sure will get better, the iPhone had some issues when it first came out. At least this is on Verizon's network I'm just happy to have a phone actually hold its water when being compared unlike the dreaded BB storm.
